Fruitful Achievements by Innovation: The Institute has more than 200 self-developed patents, and has undertaken two major technical research and industrialization projects in Fujian Province, and has led the compilation of the two group researches “Welded Austenitic Stainless Steel Tubes for Decoration" and "Group Standard for Cold-rolled Austenitic Stainless Steel Decorative Sheets”; the number of the newly developed product grades increases from 15 in 2015 to 39 in 2018, and the production output rises from 75,200 tons to 397,100 tons. The steelmaking and hot-rolled strips of 304 stainless steel have dropped from 2.69% and 3.70% in 2015 to 0.14% and 1.77% in 2018 respectively, the product quality has reached the domestic advanced level in the two areas of deep-drawn products and 8K panels. In November 2019, Tsingtuo Group Co., Ltd. launched the world's first high-strength nitrogen-containing austenitic stainless steel,08Cr19Mn6Ni3Cu2N (QN1803), which is highly recognized and praised by the consumers for its high strength and excellent corrosion resistance. It has been successfully applied in the six major areas including plates & strips, decorative welded pipes, steel wire rods, steel bars, and seamless tube billets, which is a great research result achieved by Tsingtuo Research Institute recently.

Under the guidance of the professional team of the Institute of Information Standardization of Metallurgical Industry, Tsingtuo Group Research Institute, together with Fujian Haili Technology Co., Ltd., Fujian Hongwang Industrial Co., Ltd., Guangdong Shuangxing New Material Group Co., Ltd., Foshan Taiyuda Steel Group Co., Ltd. , Jiangyin Xiangrui Stainless Steel Fine Wire Co., Ltd., Aozhan Industrial Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Dongming Stainless Steel Products, and Zhejiang Tsingshan Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. and other strategic partners in the industrial chain, prepared six product standards for high-strength nitrogen-containing austenitic stainless steel 08Cr19Mn6Ni3Cu2N (QN1803) steel plates and strips, decorative welded pipes, wire rods, steel bars, section steel and seamless tube blanks. Such standards have been adopted by the expert meeting of the Professional Standardization Technical Committee of China Iron and Steel Association, and passed the examination by the centralized management unit for technical standardization, and approved by the China Iron and Steel Industry Association as The Standard Groups.

Formerly known as the R&D Center of Guangdong Guangqing Metal Technology Co., Ltd., Guangqing Research Institute was established in May 2012. In April 2019, the Guangdong Provincial High-end Stainless Steel Research Institute was established upon approval by the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Department. Special Steel Research Institute of Ruipu Technology, established in 2012, is one of the first group of provincial key enterprise research institutes approved in Zhejiang Province.
